When we are closed off and too rigid in our thinking we block ourselves from experiencing life to its fullest; receiving the very most from our life and seeing all the good around us.
As well as, seeing where we have the opportunity to soften & step out of hyper independence.
Now, this doesn’t mean that we need to adopt every last thing that we absorb or hear but we do get to ask ourselves is this something that could benefit me?
We get to be open minded to the idea that change, new ideas, information and perspectives do not mean bad but just different. Acknowledging that multiple ways of doing things can exist, as well as, different ways of viewing life.
We all live in our own dream created by our upbringing and experiences so our perspectives are all going to be different based on those experiences.
⁉️ So how do we start being more open minded?
Well, here is how we don’t start … We don’t start by telling ourselves to be more opened minded. That just makes us tense up and resist more.
